The Southold Democratic Club was formed in 2000 as an arm of the Southold Democratic Committee. Our overall objective is to promote and support Democratic candidates and principles at the local, state, and national level. To accomplish this, we:

• Handle the major fund-raising mailings sent to all Southold Democrats, registered Blanks, and second home owners
  
• Hold major fund-raisers, including cocktail parties, local theatre parties, dinners, in-home teas, auctions, and other events
  
• Educate ourselves on political issues by attending meetings of the Southold Democratic Committee
  
• Vigorously participate in get-out-the-vote efforts through such means as distributing campaign literature, making phone calls, providing rides to the polls, going door-to-door with candidates, putting up yard signs, and displaying bumper stickers on our automobiles
  
• Sponsor workshops and special outings
